Toshiba Takes Claim To World’s Lightest Laptop

<span>Toshiba has taken claim to beating out Apple Inc. as well as Lenovo Group Ltd., who have the MacBook Air and the Thinkpad X300 respectively.</span>
<span>The world’s lightest laptop, according to Toshiba, weighs in at just 2.4 pounds. This compares to the Apple MacBook Air which weighs in at 3 pounds, and the Lenovo Thinkpad X300 at 2.93 pounds.</span>
<span>At its thinnest point, the Toshiba laptop is .077 inches.</span>
<span>The laptop may be light, but it has some power packing a 128GB solid-state drive, a 12.1-inch screen, 1.33-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U7700 processor, 2MB of cache, and 2GB of RAM.</span>
<span>As of right now, Toshiba has announced the MSRP at $2,999.</span>
